Last Mile Stack is about the gap between what a system can do and how it impacts the end user.
That user might be a buyer in a SaaS sales cycle, where the gap looks like discovery that stops at a checklist and demos built on someone else’s data. It might be an eCommerce shopper whose first stop is an AI assistant that researches and recommends before they ever reach your site. Or it might be an employee asking an internal AI agent a question, getting an answer only as good as the documents, permissions, and data behind it.
There’s insightful work that success requires in all of those settings: structuring the data, the context, and the proof for the right outcomes.
I write from the middle of that work. I’ve spent years as a solutions engineer, most recently at Feedonomics, helping enterprise brands get their data in front of channels, marketplaces, and AI agents. Before that: SE roles at FullStory and Shogun, and before that, frontend engineering.
